LISA OLIVER

I have been working in the field of web design since 1999. Formerly a project manager and web designer at a large scale internet firm in Dallas, Texas, I worked with large business clients such as The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Betty Crocker, General Mills, Wyndham Hotels, and Radio City Music Hall. After the dot-com crash in 2001, the large agency I was working for fell apart, so I created my own website and graphic design business, helping small and medium-sized business clients achieve success on the web. After 5 years in the windy city of Chicago, I recently ditched the snow shovel and headed back home to Texas, and I'm glad to be back.

I love what I do and I really enjoy getting involved in every aspect of the client's business. I take my work very seriously and will do everything I can to help you maximize your business. And if you're good, I'll send you a nice box from Zingerman's at Christmas.

How do you choose a web designer? Here's a terrific article from Practical Ecommerce on best practices in choosing a web designer (that's me) or a web developer, and the difference between the two.

"Working with Lisa has by far been the best experience I've had with a creative vendor. Not only is her design of high quality, but her deep understanding of HTML, web functionality, and e commerce has allowed us to give multiple projects to Lisa that we would otherwise have to assign to multiple vendors. In addition she has been among the most professional and responsive of vendors we've used."     -- Karl Bowman, President, US Cutter / Sign Universe
